Please be aware that due to our merger our GP's can sometimes work from any of our four sites.
We are a teaching practice and host fully qualified doctors known as GP Registrars gaining experience in general practice.
As part of our teaching, we sometimes have Medical Students sitting in during consultations – please say if you would prefer to see the doctor or nurse alone.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (e.g. Average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. This is required in the interests of the greater public accountability recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.
The average pay for GP’s working in the Tyntesfield Medical Group based on a 4.99 sessional basis was £49,362.
“The basis of session calculation is worked as full-time average salaried GP being £49,362 / 4.99*8 sessions = £79,137 earnings”
